It is an exciting time for many of the applications on Steem. We are seeing a number of updates from some of the older applications. The biggest was the total change to DTube. This was followed up by an update to the android version of Actifit along with some new partnerships.
We now are seeing @dlike getting into the game.
A couple of weeks ago, they announced a staking program to help reward those who put up their tokens for a period of 90 or 180 days. By staking for 90 days, one will receive a 9% payout. This jumps to 25% if one commits the tokens for 180 days.
One of the newer updates if the option of one becoming a Pro on the Dlike platform. This requires 10,000 Dlike, one time, to become classified as such. Making this payout will result in the tokens being burned, helping the overall ecosystem.
Also, from an individual standpoint, one will be able to make 3 daily posts as opposed to 2. The upvote will be 3x as opposed to the normal one and there is sharing in the daily reward pool which will be paid in Dlike.
As you can see, there is also a tipping service through an Ethereum Wallet using USDT and being a Pro member enables one to share in that.
It is good to see applications moving forward and making some progress. I like what Dlike is doing in terms of rewarding their better users more. Having a "Membership model" is a good idea. It provides some benefit to those who spent the time working hard on the platform and being active. Of course, one can buy his or her way in to receive the same benefits which will help the token.
I always like Dlike simply because it is an application that ranks high on the ease of use scale. While the features are lacking, it is good to see them making headway. The fact that one can access the Steem Wallet from the app and at least claim rewards is a big step forward.
It seems like this app has a fairly solid community. I look forward to seeing how many accounts actually upgrade to their Pro level. That will be a telling sign of the commitment of the community as opposed to those who are just trying to scalp some tokens.
What the results are, it is always good to see updates on these different applications.
Over time, they all will add up.
