It seems each day there is something new.
The development on this blockchain is mind boggling.
This is what is starting to set STEEM apart from other blockchains. STEEM is providing applications that have real world uses.
There is no doubt that the film industry is a very difficult one to get into. The last 20 years made it a bit easier with the advent of some newer technologies which dropped the prices down a great deal. Couple that with less costly, but improved, cameras, and you can see how the independent circuit exploded.
Now we have STEEM films. I do not have a great deal of information on it since the website is rather limited.
This is a project for people who are interesting in creating films. It appears that it is going to be using the SMT protocol to design the "FILM" token. According to the site, it is set to be released in 2018.
The content reward system looks like it is appealing to another industry. We are going to see film makers rewards for their content, I presume, in a manner similar to on here. Also, since it is on this blockchain, those who view and upvote films have a chance to make some money.
