This photo is taken near Tefe, Brazil, on the Amazon River a notorious pirate zone. They two fishermen came from a couple of kilometers away zoom right up to me as I'm kayaking along. I'm absolutely bricking it thinking ohh shit here we go. They approach and slow down and simply wanted to warn me of all the pirate activity, they tell me they know pirates we're around the last few days so I must be careful as its "Muy Peligroso" very dangerous.
I sigh with relief and thank them and just like they they head off again.
