Hiking through the national forests in Tasmania about half a days climb to Cradle Mountain I'm moving along making good speed with my 35kg rucksack when I notice some rustling the bush just off to my left. I stop and sling my bag down trying to make out what creature it is and a few minutes later this little Echidna emerges.
