This photo is from just outside of Mostar. I took it from the train to Sarajevo.

My journey through Herzegovina is over for now, and I am heading north. Sarajevo is pretty much a crossroads city, with transportation available to everywhere, so to Sarajevo I go.
Sarajevo is such a beautiful city...

This is my favorite park, full of pigeons, crows, and old men playing chess.

I stayed in a room that was very close to old town. Every city that has an "old town" is a cool city.

Old town Sarajevo is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. It is very typical to see tourist shops with beautiful shiny things.

If it were cheaper to ship things to America, I would have a truckload of shiny things by now, but shipping to America from here is crazy expensive:(
Once you get past the shops, old town is filled with architectural beauty.

Sarajevo is an interesting mix of very old, and very new.
You will see a mix of old Turkish, Austro-Hungarian, and new architecture and technology.

My main mission this time was to find my favorite busker, so I could hear her sing Cudna jada of Mostara Grada.

Mission complete.

Before I called it a day, I had a quick smoke with my good buddy Nikola Tesla.

He tells the greatest jokes.

I am already looking forward to my nest trip to Sarajevo, and I haven't actually left yet.
I believe this city in the summer will be incredible!

Blessings to all.
