Remember Bailey? The pup who wandered up to the TARC gate last winter, sick and starving and all alone in the world?
We took him in and reached out to our Steemit family to help with his rescue. People responded in unbelievable ways, and Bailey not only recovered from his poor health, but made friends with another dog in our rescue, a pup named Andy.
Then magic happened! Our Vermont rescue partner told us that a potential adopter had submitted applications for BOTH of them. That meant their friendship here would travel with them when they left on transport, and they would go to the same forever home.
This is the photo we got back right soon after their arrival in New England.
Today we got another update. The top photo in this post, the cover image, is of Andy and Bailey with the granddaughter of their furparents. The following are other photos they sent to show us how well these boys are doing in their new lives. We definitely want to share with everyone the fruit of their efforts in supporting this rescue. Bailey was our first "Steemit rescue," the first dog Steemians came together to save. And save him we all did! We thank everyone who helped him and all the dogs who've come since from the bottom of our hearts.
