You aren't likely interested in it being on Hive only, but over time, you would likely pay more attention to this, especially if the content was obviously elsewhere and in the comments section there would be people pointing it out and downvotes from those who do care. There is also increasing automation that finds duplicates too, which will likely get better and automate further.

So this post has earned Hive because it was valuable to me - and I have no idea if it was printed elsewhere, or even if it was printed elsewhere first...

But then, you have to also think about how you found this content, which is because you follow me. But, how and why did you end up following me in the first place? It has been a while, but most likely it was because other people "suggested" (in various ways) back in the day that I was worth a follow and they did so because I produce original content daily that isn't found anywhere else. You keep dropping by because you have found it valuable too (in some way), which drives the loop.

All of these little random things add up and when they are consistently adding up, there is that continuity and familiarity, as well as the relationships built that extends past an individual piece of content and into the relationship sectors. It really does become a community that was connected through individual pieces of content, but extends into sharing parts of lives.

Content generally gets consumed once by an individual, but relationships cover many pieces of content and work to create more individual pieces to add into the stream.
