Is it really that important to have a timeline of how many years, months, days, hours, or minutes we’ve been here… existed, or done something?
Maybe the timeline isn't important to focus on, but making sure there is a timeline that contains what we value. I think a lot of people are not really living anymore. There is biological life, but not valuable experience.
What matters to us, to me, to you?
Ronaldo (who I don't like) is pretty great in the sense that he competes where he wants to compete and will do so as long as he can. It might be out of fear of not knowing what comes next, or it might be that he realises that he only has so many days he can put in that level of work for something he wants to compete at.
