THe cognas is expensive there, but here you wouldn't even get a shot of cognac for 9€, let alone dollars. I had a whiskey the other day and it was 14€ and wasn't even a great one.

I think when it comes to the cheap junk yes, but I reckon adults here eat a lot of expensive junk also. Unnecessary calories.
