Kind of funny as well. I was busy engaging with and rewarding short-form content long before people even knew it was short-form content here. Didn't even have to search for it. It came to me in the form of comments.

This is the way to reward shortform content too. I am not a fan of the majority of shortform main posts, but a huge fan of the comments section.

Been trying out the new "official" short-form methods. Snaps mainly. Unfortunately, there's not much engagement to reward.

This is the problem with a lot of shortform content as main posts, it doesn't often inspire much engagement, and because it is so easy to do, it can get flooded, like Twitter. Something like 99% of posts on twitter get zero engagement, even when not done by a bot.

One part I'm struggling with is finding attractive content. Things that catch my eye and keep my interest. I'd like to be a little more active as a consumer.

And this is a major issue, because shortform content ends up being somewhat of a race to the bottom, as evidenced by a lot of the other platforms, However, I think it would be more societally beneficial to have decent discussions around longer form content that matters. But, that is my preference :)
