Young people are more comfortable talking about money than older, as they don't carry the same kinds of issues. However, they are also more comfortable lying about it too. And also, they are more likely not to own anything else of value, so "savings" are not a very good indicator, especially as many are still living off their parents :)
Also I feel sad for the guy who claimed that he inherited 200k but had to pay 60k in tax. That seems like legal robbery/ scam to me.
It is 35% here, so he would have got 130.
