Yeah, it is a weight off, though now I get to worry about the job itself :) That should be okay though, once I ramp up to it.

Some parts of society are far far to far away from what I see as societal norms.

I kind of feel like it is someone playing around, and the bosses don't know. Automated systems work largely blind and are content agnostic.

I never leave my computer turned on when I am gone.

Mine is always on! :D I have had this happen a few times though, including the one before I built the one I am using now. It happened just as my daughter was born and since I had work to do, built it (my first) while she was in intensive care. Interesting times for sure.

I have never played with a Pi, are they fun to fiddle with?

A 32 inch would be good - I am thinking of those "ultra wide" and a second monitor next to it also, incase I need to screen-share. The ultras don't handle screen sharing well.
