Not bad.
The two golds are guaranteed as they are dropped on every 1000 packs, but I am unsure if they are on top of the regulars for every 50 packs. If they are on top, I got three extra regulars - if they are not on top, I got one. Would have loved to get an additional two golds though. Even 1 more and I would have considered buying another to max.
Current market:
And when I went to combine into a max:
Ummm... what?
I'll roll the dice and combine 11 anyway.
This feels like an interesting card, even at 7 mana. It is similar in some respects to the Angel of Light card in Life with Resurrect and Tank Heal, but benefits from still having an attack and, with reflection shield, gives it a decent defense behind the tank, that it can bring back to life to offer a bit more defense.
Also, combined with life, it can offer another resurrect, while sitting behind for example, Agor Longtail, which has heal and taunt. That would give the Tank 3x heal a round, plus potentially 4x resurrect. In a Weak Magic, Adelade Brightwing would also give a little support with a shield heal. Matched with Kitty, and there is an additional Tank Heal on top. Throw in a Crystalsmith, and there is another. There isn't much firepower in that mix though and they are all magic other than the Agor with a little Melee and Crystalsmith with Range, so the last card would have to step it up - - perhaps a Sandworm or Runic Skylore. Fury and Scattershot would be the likely defense, as well as speed.
It might be a "bit player", but I think it adds an interesting option that could prove frustrating. The more of these bit player cards that come into play, the harder it becomes to predict what lineup will be faced, and the more "random" the game becomes. There will still be the strongest lineups, but even those with the fullest decks will take some random losses as they face diverse opponents with surprise strategies.
This Airdrop is a few weeks late, as after the presale closed, there were some issues that needed to be sorted out first, as they would affect the supply. There should be around 10,000 of these cards based on the 1:50 pack ratio and so far, the supply looks like this, which shows people have been busily opening:
But, one good thing about having to wait this long for the airdrop is:
It isn't that long until the next one.
Airdrop days are always exciting, but it takes me ages to work out strategies to use the cards. Currently., I am struggling to get my head around even a fraction of the new opportunities, making it hard to compete against those who can - and the bots who never forget they have a new card up their sleeve to play.
Right, now that the excitement is all over, I have opened, combined to play, created two L3s to rent and moved the non-playing cards to my rental account, it is time to get to real-life work instead - as that is what pays the bills. One day, I hope that crypto activity pays the bills, but that seems "some time" off.
For those playing along, how was your drop luck?
