Here's a fun little project that I've been enjoying.

How many places can you find that claim St. George as their patron ?

I always assumed he was an English saint, you know St. George and the Dragon, but nope, it seems the chap go around a bit. I found him in Amersford in the Netherlands, where he is featured in their town square mechanical clock..fighting the dragon. He is "their saint" they say.

I found him in Barcelona on wall plaques and claimed as theirs.

He made an appearance in Switzerland, I think it was Zurich, may have been Basel.

And I'm sure there are more...can you find him elsewhere ?
