I've recently also gotten interested in mushrooms, although I still don't know enough. But I do would like to get to know the different species and which ones are edible and which are not. In our garden we sometimes spot some between our trees but leave them be, because we don't know enough yet. They really are fascinating, especially if you know hoe they are formed.
