At home we are very excited about the chick that my son has been given, because he could not stop drawing and catching this beautiful memory on paper. This chick hangs around my son all day long and she likes to stand on my shoulder and sleep, she is very beautiful.

En casa estamos muy entusiasmados con la pollita que le han regalado a mi hijo, pues no podía dejar de dibujar y atrapar este hermoso recuerdo en un papel. Esta pollita se pasa detrás de mi hijo todo el todo el día y le gusta ponerse en el hombro y dormir, es muy hermosa.
I started by making a sketch with very thin lines of how my drawing would look.
I was reinforcing the lines to highlight that I was really going to make the drawing, always starting with the head of the chick, then the hands, leaving the feathers for the end, which were very laborious.
Later I worked with the shadows and details of the drawing so that it would be just as I wanted.
Comencé haciendo un bosquejo con líneas muy delgadas de cómo quedaría mi dibujo.
Fui reforzando las líneas para resaltarlo que realmente iba hacer el dibujo siempre comenzando con la cabeza de la pollita, luego las manos, dejando para el final las plumas que fueron muy trabajosas.
Después fui trabajando con las sombras y los detalles del dibujo para que quedara tal como yo quería.
Then I passed it through the scanner transferring the photo to the computer to take my drawing to a negative art through the GIMP program.
