Phu Chi Fa is the highest peak in the Doi Pha Mon mountain range, in Chiang Rai province, in the North of Thailand, which is adjacent to the Thai-Lao border.
It is an impressive travel destination because it is surrounded by mountains and beautiful nature.
Phu means mountain
Chi means point
Fa means sky
Phu Chi Fa has a unique natural feature with a cliff with a long pointed peak pointing to the sky on the Lao side.
That’s why it is called Phu Chi Fa.
The highlight of Phu Chi Fa is the viewpoint of the sea of mist and the beautiful sunrise.
In the morning there will be a sea of mist covering the valley below. The sun rising through the sea of mist among the meadows is as beautiful as a painting.
(Unfortunately, my sisters visited there during the daytime, so I have no photos to show you. Please just imagine!)
p.s. Will show you more photos in my next post.
