Khao Kradong Volcano Forest Park - an impressive tourist attraction in Buri Ram province, in the North East of Thailand

There is no active volcano in Thailand, but we have an extinct volcano at Khao Kradong Volcano Forest Park in Buriram province, Thailand's North East.

The place is surrounded by nice nature; many trees, beautiful mountain scenery, fresh air, etc.

You have to climb up the enormous stairs with over hundreds of steps to the top of the mountain. Yeah! This is a good exercise for you, for sure....

Kradong Volcano is an old volcano, but the crater of the volcano can obviously be seen.

Nowadays, it looks like a little pond that is impressive.

Apart from the volcano, you will also find a beautiful giant Buddha statue with a magnificent crown located on the top of the mountain. This is for people to worship and ask for blessing…

The area is peaceful which is great for meditation.
