Brr! The wind is not a very pleasant visitor here today. I'm much happier to see you!
When the weather is unpleasant like this, I keep my outdoor activities to a minimum. So no new progress on the dog house, the deck, the barn, or any of the other small items needing attention outside! But, the sheep, always always, need me.
I refilled their mineral station today. I carried the mineral out there in one of my green five-gallon pails. These pails are rumored to be filled with the Glorious Elixir Of Heavenly Delights in most sheep circles, so I had to wade through a crowd of fangirling sheep to get to the mineral feeder. They were happy to have minerals, but disappointed that it wasnt Glorious Elixir like they had hoped.
I really need to get a selfie stick, you can't see the mob at my feet, it was seriously life-and-death for a few minutes.
After the sheep were cared for, I spent my day inside. After supper, I took my kids back to school for parent-teacher interviews. Happy to report they're doing very well! We also made a quick stop at the public library, but I wanted to get on the road quickly, because the wind was whipping up a lot of the snow and reducing visibility pretty bad. It took a little longer, but we made it home safe!
Now I am cozy in my warm bed and ready for a good winter's sleep. Hope you're warm and cozy too, see you next time!
