Howdy folks! We have a snowfall warning on here tonight. Up to 15 cm (6 inches) to be expected overnight. Now, 15 cm isn't really that much in my books, I don't really start getting excited until we're in the >30 cm range. However, for other places in the world, I can imagine that this much snow would be considered drastic. There are some moderate winds forecasted as well, so there should be some large drifts by morning too!
The sheep are taking it all in stride. They've selected bedding locations that are a little more sheltered tonight and are all cuddled up together and content. The only one who is mildly grumpy is the donkey, and that's mostly because the sheep don't cuddle with her very much.
My husband, on the other hand, is much more grumpy than the donkey! And he doesn't even have to sleep outside yet.
My friend and I got through Return of the Jedi today, but she had a long trip to get home and wanted to beat the storm, so we took a rain check on The Force Awakens. She's definitely got a ticket on the geek train now. I think we'll spring for a private compartment, first class.
It was a good day to stay inside and watch movies for sure! I also baked bread and some cinnamon rolls.
As for tomorrow? There will be plenty of indoor projects to keep us busy, so we shouldn't have to brave the cold for too long! Unless it turns into good snowball weather, in which case we might just have a little family battle royale.
