Today, I made a trip to Saskatoon, one of my nearest cities, to pick up some items that I can't get locally, as well as some things my husband bought online through a consignment auction service. I'm not sure why we needed 11 thermal coffee carafes, 6 washing machine hoses, and a box full of LED candles, but they were all together on a pallet with a very nice printer and a bunch of matching ink which we got for about $25.
So, if you need some candles, I can hook you up, man.
Before leaving this morning, I did chores as usual:
NOM NOM NOM
And then I was off! On a lovely scenic 1.75 hour drive.
I don't really like the city. Don't get me wrong, I like people from the city, food from the city, and stuff from the city. But if there was a way to enjoy all those things without the 'city' part of the deal, I would love that. Oh well.
I got cute little boxes for decorating for an upcoming Christmas banquet:
I got a bunch of pretty bottles and glasses for decorating that same banquet. But didn't take any pictures.
I bought a couple pieces of lumber that I was short for my deck. Also no pictures of that.
And then, it was time for Wal-Mart. Just a few staple groceries that I can buy for a lot less at Wal-Mart if I happen to be there. I try to support my local grocery store as much as possible, but they don't even stock some things because there just isnt the demand for it out where I live.
But then I wandered past the cheap movie bins.
What's that, Wal-Mart? You want me to buy this?
as you wish
Yep, I aim to misbehave.
my prrreciousssss
Aaiieee, I've gone plaid!
Oh my. I bought so many movies. Other titles include The Martian, School of Rock, Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2, and a few for the kids as well. Good thing I have a lot of popcorn in the cupboard!
Tomorrow is Halloween! I'm looking forward to seeing all the costumes! I know I'll be showing off my kids' outfits!
That's all for tonight, see you again tomorrow, everyone!
