In my previous blog, I had mentioned about my dog named Uku Chan and today would like to shared about it.
Origin
I had adopted my dog since mid year of 2019 from my neighbor who cant afford to take care extra breed dog as its too costly for them. At that time, my neighbor gave me 2 male dogs, poodle mix Shihtzu breed. Our family also unable to taking care two breed dogs, thus one of them we gave it to my cousin. Why we select Uku Chan as our family👨👩👧👧?🧐Uku Chan had curly hair with curl tail whereas the other one got straight hair and straight tail.
Why named Uku Chan?
At first my mum named it Doboy. However, my boyfriend who is pet lover like to call my dog Uku Chan. My dog seem very responsive when calling Uku Chan instead of Doboy. Therefore, from now on we call him Uku Chan. By the way, my boyfriend got 2 dogs, 1 female golden retriever and 1 female poodle mix domestic.
In Kadazan Dusun, 1 of the language used in Sabah, we call puppy as 'Duku'. My boyfriend race was Dusun and like to watch anime. 'Uku' we got it from Duku word while 'Chan' to make the my dog name cute to called.😁
