So I'm appreciative about any small talks from people that know their way around the subject once in a while.

This is one of the things I wanted to mention, but it slipped my mind somehow. I get so excited when someone has any knowledge on the subject, it's ridiculous.
People are not realistic when it comes to crypto, they either expect too much or opposite, have a rejecting attitude towards it. It's an interesting phenomena for sure!
