My son has got his writing skill!!
My son is a left-hander, and his writing was a real challenge for me. I was a left-hander in my childhood as well, but at that time it was not normal, and all kids were retaught to use their right hand instead of the left one.
So in fact I'm a retaught left-hander. And my hubby - as well.
So it's absolutely logical our son is a left-hander too. But we never tried to break his nature, and he uses his left hand as he wants.
But it was real discovery for me to know that left-handers have different writing laws and rules, and parents should be aware of them.
🌟Their letters have another slope,
🌟another connection,
🌟and their manner of writing differs from the traditional one
🌟They can start from the bottom, not from the top,
🌟and they can have another position of a copy-book
and many other details...
I studied all these aspects and rules before I started my teaching because I really wanted to make writing easy for my son.
I've bought a book for left-handers (a right one!, because I found many of them which were wrong and didn't follow left-handers rules), and it was our basis.
We started writing in fall, and he writed only some lines in the beginning.
His hand and muscles werre weak, and they needed time to be stronger because writing is a very complicated process for hands, muscles, fingers and brains.
In some weeks he could write more, then - more and more,and in the end of his training book he could write the whole page without a pause!
The book proposed the most primitive elements first, then - more complicated, then - small words, and in the end - sentences.
We were not in a hurry, I didn't push him, if he was lazy - ok, we had a free day from writing, he has his own speed and time for learning.
And I do like the results!
He LIKES writing now!
He is proud he has finished his book, and he really remembers all letters FINE! We even didn't need time to recollect and repeat letters that were in the begining - he knows them all well now!
I can say a sentence, and he writes it easy and fast.
And the main - he likes the process!
And the main proof of it that surprised me and made me happy was ..... his wish to start writing HIS OWN STORY at once after finishing his copy-book with training letters😆❤️
And he has started it! Really!:))
He creates the definite plot in his head and writes it in his new copy-book. He feels liike a real writer, and he likes it:))
Who knows....maybe he will be really a world-known writer...:)🌟😍
He is my lovely book-worm now, he can read from morning till night, so if he is a writer, it will absolutely logical and natural...;)😄
