Guys, I've told you that we bought an ant farm some weeks ago. And now it's the main fun and object of interest not only for my son but also for me and my hubby:]
We diddn't expect that these tiny creatures would make us love them so fast and so easy♥️
How cute they are, how clever and how well organized🌟
I like how they organize their space. It can seem just nothing but in fact it means much for them, they know what and why they put in different parts of their home.

Of course, to take care of them better it's necessary to know much about their life, food and way of giving birth to new generations.
Now my son investigates it carefully.
Thus, we've got info that any ant family consists of different types of ants:
- Queen - their Mom and their Head
- soldiers - those who take care about safety around
- investigators - those who follow all latest news around;]
- feeders - those who seek for food
But despite they all have different roles, they are NOT separate parts and separate ants, they are just cells of the same organism, where the Queen is the brain.
If she dies, they will die too in some days.
Can you imagine it??
They can't live without her, because they don't see sense in their lives if they don't serve for the common benefits and the common goal.
Moreover, almost all ants in this family are girls, and they all have lost their possibility to be mothers to give this chance only to their Queen.
And one more shocking fact - ants never sleep😱Better to say, they can sleep, but we can't notice it, because it can last just a few seconds some times a day.
So surprising info, isn't it? And it's only the top of this iceberg about ants and their life.

Now we are looking forward newborn ants, and I hope they will be fine too because ants adults live only for some months, and only the Queen can live for 20 years. So we need new newborns to get a chance to develop our Ant Empire;]
