We had a trip to the Ostrich farm that is situated in the Kerch Penninsula. I visit this farm every year for about 15 years already, so it's my little tradition.
The number and kind of animals differ from year to year here, but ostrcihes are main heroes here fore sure.
When we were going there, we read some interesting facts about them:
- they live for 70 years
- they eat plant food, but can enjoy some insects or lizards
- their weight is about 60-120 kg
- and they are very kind to people - it's true btw.
They are really kind and very cute.
