Right-brain drawing is a new popular trend here in Russia, and many parents follow it because it allows kids love painting and feel like painters even without any skills to it.
Just one lesson for abour 1 hour and ANY kid can create his own picture. It inspires, gives motivation and develops creativity and skills.
BUT. Each of such lessons costs money.
Now in Youtube we can find anything we need, and I've decided to save money and practice right-brain drawing at home.
We've found a video of a picture we like, and my son starts his creative work (I explain him some moments in process, like mixing colours for instance, but let him draw by himself all main feautures).
When he sees that his drawing really looks like a picture, he is SO proud and happy:)
Look what we've made - a sea sunset
At first - the sky - mixing different colours
then - the sea - the same method of making colours gradient
Then - creating the Sun
and then we add some more elements....
Ready!
I like this technique very much because I can't draw well either, so we enjoy it together:)
