Guys, I'm on my way to organising unschooling way of life for my 7-year old son.
As I've already told you, I was studying this topic for a long time, and now I just have to inform authorities about my choice. I have to do it because the law says so:
"At the period of age 6,5 till 8 yeards parents have to choose form of education for their kids and inform authorities about this choice".
Moroever, we have to do it NOT later than 2 weeks before the start of the school year - the 1st of September.
My son is 7 now, and this year he has to start his educational process at school or anywhere, so I have to make all docs right now.
I had a consultation with an unschooling expert, who helped me to make my docs.
So I HAD TO:
- Find out which authorities in my region are responsible for registering children for family education.
- Find out the name of the head, on the official website of the structure.
- Fill out a notification about choosing a family form of education for your child.
There is NO word "unschooling" in Russia, they call it "Family education".
Next 3 options:
- Print the application in 2 copies, sign and date.
Take the notification to the secretary of the organization and ask to accept it as an incoming document and mark the acceptance on the second copy.
Parents are not required to go to interviews with specialists, fill out the application forms offered by them and listen to refusals or threats. If the secretary refuses to accept the notice, parents ask for a written refusal to apply to the Prosecutor's Office.
Parents should keep a copy of the notice with the incoming number and date of acceptance at home. This is proof that you are fulfilling your government obligation to provide your child with educational opportunities.
Send the docs by Post - a registered letter with a return receipt. Parents keep the confirmation of receipt and inventory.
Send a scan (photo) Email notifications to the secretary. In the text of the letter, please send the incoming document number.
Print or save the incoming number.
I didn't want to go there and reply any questions, so I chose 2nd and 3rd option.
At first, I found official emails and tried to send emails there, but it was impossible, because one of them didn't work at all, it was impossible to send anything there, so I used the 2nd one and sent my email with docs there.
No reply;)

Then I chose the 2nd option and sent my docs by Post.
In this case I didn't need to wait for their reply. I just had to wait for the return receipt, and it would be my proof and protection from CPS.
So Ok....
I DID IT, guys, and I am waiting for my son's official protection;)
