The system is a powerful weapon against individuality.
Moreover, it transforms enthusiasm and great desire to life, development and knowledge into absolute passivity.
School is one of such mechanisms.
Not to say just abstract words, I will tell you a real life story.
A friend of mine has a son of 9 years old. Now he is a school pupil.
He didn't attend a kindergarten from 2 years old like many other kids, he was led there only at 6 before school to prepare him to be a part of a group.
So he is a part of the system about 3 years.
And it was enough to transform him into a system slave.
Why have I made such conclusions?
When he was free, it was a super active boy with a great interest to everything around!
He attended sport sections, chess, English classes, art lessons. And he really liked them all, he was happy to go there and have so many activities.
Moreover, they were active in ordinary life too - travelling, new games, new hobbies. We often exchangged ideas about free time.
Some days ago I had a talk with his dad, my friend.
I was absolutely surprised that a boy does not attend anything now. He goes to school. He comes home, does his homework and... spend time in his gadgets...
He has become a little bit fat and have NO interest and no initiative to anything. It is an absolutely different boy!
Only 3 years of the system influence..
Early my friend argued with me about my unschooling. He thought it was wrong.
Now he doesn't say so..
