Do you know what I like most about acrylic paints? They can be painted on any surface!
Knowing this, an idea came to my mind. I needed to buy pink buttons for my jacket. It was certainly easy to do, but on the other hand, I have a lot of different buttons.
Why not make some of them pink! 😀 I looked for the right ones and found these black buttons.
Then I picked up the pink color of acrylic paint that matched the fabric of the jacket.
Now I will cover the buttons with this paint.
This is not the first time I paint on such surfaces and I know that I need to make several layers of paint in stages.
You see, one coat of paint is not enough. Therefore, I leave the paint to dry and then apply the next layer. Along the way, I came up with another idea - to add brown spots in accordance with the fabric of the jacket. What I did!
I showed these buttons to my husband and he really liked it. But he asked if the acrylic paint on the buttons would hold up to washing the jacket. I thought about it and decided to cover the buttons with glitter nail polish.
I really liked the result! The buttons turned out really cool! I took a picture for comparison of buttons with and without varnish.
The buttons go great with the jacket!
