Good Monday to you, our dear girls, needlewomen! 🌹🌹🌹
The transformation of a man's shirt into a woman’s tunic is, of course, loudly said! 😅😊 But there was an attempt to do this 😉😁 This is what I end up with!
It was my husband's shirt that frayed on the cuffs of the sleeves. The husband could no longer wear it and decided to throw out his shirt. But the fabric of it was natural, very good quality. I decided to change it into a women's tunic. At least it will not be a pity to throw it out in case of failure 😉😅 The first thing I did was cut off the collar and buttoned plackets on both sides of the shirt and sew on the lace.
Then I shortened the sleeves and pulled the elastic to tighten them up a bit. It looks more neat. I didn't want the sleeves to be wide. I'm not photographing the seam too close for you to see it 😁 It looks terrible! 😶🤣
When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw that the tunic was too long and too wide for me 🙄😏 Then I cut off the bottom a little and decided to sew a wide elastic band at the waist on the back. I did not take photos of the process, but only photographed the result. It was all too complicated for me, so I completely forgot about the photographs 😶
It looks much better that way. Truth?
I like the way the tunic looks on me. I like to wear tunics with a top made of natural fabric.
But I couldn't solve one problem - shoulder! 😥
The tunic does not fit my shoulders very well - a little too big. And I don't know how you can solve this problem without completely cutting off the sleeves 🙄🙁 It's still too hard for me 😶
I hope you are doing well! Take care of yourself! 💐💐💐
