Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
For the second week now we have been living under martial law in the country. Now I feel much calmer and have even been able to return to my favorite knitting.
The fact is that we were able to go for several days to the very south, far into the desert. That city is very far from the place of military actions. It stands on the shore of the Red Sea. Here we could walk because there were no rocket attacks or sirens. We could swim in the sea and admire its beauty.
When we left, we didn’t know if we could get there safe and sound. But fortunately for us, the road was very calm and safe. Of course, I took my knitting with me, but for the first few days I couldn’t knit. But every time I was going to the beach, I put the knitting in my purse and took it with me. And then one day on the beach I wanted to knit.
This means that the stress began to pass, giving way to peace in the soul. I was very happy because I understood that I was starting to calm down. The sea and silence helped me with this.
As you can see from the photos, the beaches were completely deserted. There were almost no people, although October is the best time for a seaside holiday in our country. The war ruined the plans of many people; many canceled their vacations and trips to the sea. A few days ago we returned home. The shelling continues, but I can already knit.
Sometimes I even take up knitting when we run for cover when the siren warns of a rocket attack. Therefore, my project began to slowly move forward.
I really hope that the hostilities will end much earlier than I finish this lilac sweater project of mine.

Take care of yourself and be healthy!!!
