Hello to all my creative art loving friends! I hope you are doing well!
Lately, I've had very little opportunity to draw. But still, I slowly continue my learning to draw. According to the graphics, there was a master class on drawing flowers. Well, I don't really want to paint flowers. I like animals and nature in general more. But I decided to encourage my discipline and follow a schedule, so I learned to draw flowers.
As usual, I first cover a sheet of watercolor paper with white paint, preparing it for the background. I paint with my favorite acrylic paints.
The weather was nice and I painted on the balcony. I love it! 😃
After applying the background, which I changed ten times (I didn't like the color scheme that I had), we began to work on the vase.
I don't like to draw vases even more than flowers. 😕 But! Where is my discipline? 😁🙈 Yes, I am learning to draw a vase! 😁
Here is the reference from which we drew. I like this picture so I could force myself to draw it. 😃
In general, I liked my vase, oddly enough! 😁 The next step is drawing the green part of the plants. After that, we outline future flowers with a pencil.
Then we move on to drawing the flowers themselves. It must be poppies. I love poppies!
I don't know exactly what will happen to me. At least it will definitely be flowers, although it is not certain that it is poppies. 😅🤣
But I try very hard! Now we need to add small white flowers and work a little on the leaves.
Here's what I got so far!
It is still very difficult for me to draw thin blades of grass and stems. Yes, I need more practice with this, but I already got the hang of what it takes. In general, I like the picture, but I want to correct a little on the right - there are too many red colors here. This makes the picture there too "heavy". Anyway, I intend to try to fix it.
What do you think? Should I remove one flower on the right? 🤔

Take care of yourself and be healthy!
