I am sure that each of us has friends who helped a lot in difficult times. We are always very grateful to these people and glad that they are in our lives. When I thought about how I could thank my friends - already an elderly couple - for their kindness to me, I thought about the drawing.
I decided to draw something funny for them that would make them laugh. On the Internet, I found such a drawing in which a cat was drawn very similar to their old cat. I chose a suitable canvas from those that my husband and I found.
The first step I primed it with white acrylic paint.
Then I started painting the sky and clouds.
Then I sketched the outlines of the main details of the drawing.
Now I'm starting to work on the clothes hanging from the rope and the bottom layer for the cat.
My husband said the cat's tail is too big like a squirrel's 馃檮馃檲
He liked this tail better 馃槂 Men's shorts turned out very funny. I like! 馃榿
It is very difficult to draw the effect of a light translucent fabric. I was a little worried when I started drawing my main characters: a funny stupid cat and a bird.
I painted this time by myself, without an online artist master class. I tried very hard to remember what experienced artists advised in those online lessons.
And this is what I ended up with:
We beautifully packaged the picture and gave it to our friends along with a delicate bouquet of light pink roses. Of course, I'm not an artist at all, but I'm just learning the first basics of drawing, but I was very pleased when they sent me a photo with my painting and roses on their table and wrote how they laughed when they saw this drawing, because the cat on it is very similar to their cat .
