I am a sci-fi nerd and so I enjoyed Levitation Wakes and the series in general.

I can see why people who don’t read Sci-if might have found it tougher going. The sequels that follow do start with a bit more pace if you’re ever tempted back in.

If you’re looking for something similar to Project Hail Mary, I would recommend the Bobiverse series. Really funny, geeky and easy to read.

If you’re looking for sci-fi that will one day be another movie or TV show go for Hyperion. A true classic in any genre. The rights for the book are already owned. It’d either be a multi movie series or a TV show. The first book lends itself to a 8-10 part TV show that could be one of the greatest ever made (in my opinion).
