Yes, Premier League football is being sold as ‘an experience’ these days. Hence a club like Spurs investing vast sums of money on Stadiums with ‘Sky Walks’, cheese rooms and microbreweries.

The well run local clubs can find that niche but it’s not likely to be enough to get them competing with the big boys.

If you’re going to the Oval, buy the family zone tickets. They are a little more expensive but really good view and access to the interactive activities too. Usually The Hundred games are a double header so you can make a day of it, although we tend to take our own food because that’s where they really fleece you!
