As someone who works in higher education, I can confirm that today’s young adults have absolutely no fucking idea how to have a good time.

We spend loads of time talking about providing students with a ‘sense of belonging’ on campus.

For me, a sense of belonging as a 19 year old undergraduate was achieved by drinking a shit load of alcohol and sleeping with as many people as possible and pretty much everyone seemed happy with that.

These days who knows what young people want. Maybe the whole concept of ‘belonging’ to a physical space is redundant?
