What I'm sure of is that the bar has stopped being realistic a long while ago when hustle culture creeped into mainstream consciousness.

I think as of late there's a lot of doing xyz because so and so is doing it or so and so says this is what I should do. Focusing on the process is not bad, if it's anchored to one's internal compass. The moment it gets focused on the external is when every starts going downhill.
