I think the fact that many aspects of life are not under our control is a scary feeling to deal with. Even, when we try to expect the unexpected, there are still lot of unexpectations that we never think about.

For me, I'll first measure the urgency or importance of the finance-stance, then act accordingly and within the means at my disposal. Sometimes, letting it be can work in the short term, especially if it isn't important.
