Winsor McCay
Today I read about Winsor McCay. He was the New York Herald`s skillful cartoonist.
He turned out several astounding films between 1911 and 1921. Some cartoon figures in these films were so convincing that he was accused of tracing them from photographs. Then McCay drew a dinosaur for his next film, and discovered the importance of a cartoon character`s personality. Today his films are historic classics.
