Thing are really going down!
Chapter 10
What is that thing.
“We can’t let them know. If they do know the will destroy our plans.”
“Fine! Do what you want I never wanted him here anyway.
“Huh, where am I. Help!”
“Jack! It’s me Ember. I was captured with you. I’ve been up for like ten minutes.”
“Did they leave us in this room. We don’t even have restraints on us.”
“They must think that we are weak kids that have no clue how to fight or whatever.”
“Yeah, has anyone be,” I was cut off by from what it looked a slave holding food.
“You humans what food.”
“Yes please”
“Sure, I'll have some to.” He hands each of us a plate of food with bacon eggs and sausage. I have not had this food in months.
“Thank you!” He nods his head than walks away. Ember and I start destroying our food. Then someone else comes in. He looks high in command.
“You two. Follow me.” Slowly get up not wanting to go away from our food. But we do. While we are following him I notice that the walls have the same weird engravings like the top of that holden bubble. I want to know what they mean and then I see it. The same picture from the cave. It’s the same monster with eight arms it’s the same man either the swords on fire and it’s the same woman with the powers of fire. I ask the goblin, “what does that picture mean. Ember looks at and realizes that it’s the picture that I told her about. The goblin looks and says, “ you will see in a minute. Just wait.”we walk for what seems like forever. But after awhile he go through a doorway and come into a giant chamber with that picture on the wall. But there seems to be something different. The flaming sword and the name that says the flaming two are not up there.
“Did you kids see the other pictures on the wall. There was the flaming two that was the one you pointed out. But there were also others like the water two, the lighting two, the lifeling two, and much more. This is the original painting of that saying and engraving the reason the name and the water or whatever isn’t up is because only one of them is true. The only way to find out what’s behind that door is to say the names of the people who possess the power of one of the pictures. If you are the people we have been looking for, for centuries then all we need to do is say your names. That’s it. This is the reason the capital was built. It was for this purpose and this purpose only. After a while of searching and trying to get the door opens people started living here and it became a capital. Now people don’t even know about this magical thing. It’s so sad.”
“Well I guess we should say our names. Here I’ll go first. I am Ember Shono”
“And I am John portling.” Then the big intense moment comes and… nothing happens.
“No, no why can’t it be you my years of research and for what. Nothing! I’m done with this I’m leaving.”
“Umm… sir, look at the wall.” He turns his head to a slight angle so he can see the wall. I see his eyes light up then his face then his whole body.
“Oh thank you, thank you. And guess what you two are the flaming two you sneaky bastards you made me think I’m a failure. Oh, now let’s see what’s behind the door.” We all take the handle and start pulling. We open the door. We look in side and all our faces drop. None of us know what to do.
