Wicked good PNG image compression
According to the developer:
Insane(ly slow but wicked good) PNG image optimization (macOS)
It does lossy compression (sacrifice a little bit of image quality), but its footprint is minimal. No one would notice the difference except on some special images (like Color Circle Image on their examples).
I think the best part of this tool is ease of use. No settings, no options. All you need to do is just drag and drop the PNG files.
I tested with one of the biggest image on Steemhunt website:
I tested few images and it seems it's similar to ImageOptim 80% settings (little bit smaller in size, little bit worse in quality)
This tool uses pngquant --quality=80-98 option internally, so if you already use ImageOptim & ImageAlpha combination for lossless & lossy minification, you may not need this tool additionally.
However, if you don't know much about image compression, and if you prefer an easier interface, it's a nice tool to begin with.
