Absolutely cult film, I’ve seen it count of times, tireless. It commemorates the ’90s with the best music of the era. I was a kid at the time, completely seeing the teenagers in front of me at the time, as if one wasn’t even watching a movie, but a documentary or a contemporary live broadcast of disco culture at the time.
It looks like Steve and Doug Butabi will never be cool enough to get on the Roxbury Club guest list. But only until they clash with their role model, the club’s regular, Richard Grieco. To avoid a police report, Grieco befriends the unfortunate duo and introduces them to the glittering world they’ve only dreamed of so far. The two lifeless Butabi can move from the world of crappy places to cool clubs, perhaps.
