Well yeah, alcoholism is worse... way, way worse... but any addiction has it's price... but it is what it is. Like you said, alcohol is far more destructive, and it's been 'okay' while the green has been demonized. I just meant that cannabis itself can be insidious, partly due to the fact that it is possible to be relatively functioning and have it not totally destroy you like other substances. But it still is a 'deviation' off your path. But I guess also it could be argued it's part of the path too, surely it made me who I am in a lot of ways and I don't regret it. But some never seem to get off the train and admittedly, it does have it's downsides.
