Hey @dandays, They were fairly close really, maybe 15-20 or so feet, but it was from a vehicle on the side of the highway. So not terribly frightening. I wonder what the point of the whole bear tag and tracking collar was but I'm sure there is some purpose! And yeah, my mom was all yelling at them, to which it made them leave, which is probably why they seemed over it 😂 It's probably not the first time being Banff bears.
