I find the fact if a person tries to criticize a darling of the left (at the moment) that said critic is immediately categorized as (insert whatever word applies-) "phobic" in an effort to completely discredit their words to be a very lazy argumentative tactic.... their words might even make sense if people bothered to read them objectively.

This is an example of lazy thinking by the BBC and sadly affects a lot of people.
The logic goes that if you criticize or challenge anyone who is classed as in a "minority" the main or only reason that you are doing so is that they are a minority. It jumps to the false assumption of the speakers intent and completely ignores the most important thing which is what the person is ACTUALLY saying.
