It's very significant that you noticed his absence, it's a proof that he exists for many and that his presence is important here.
It has also happened to me, that I notice that someone who writes frequently is not around, it seems strange to me and I think: "hopefully he is having such a good time, that he doesn't have time to create content" (I like to be positive 🤭).
I hope galenkp reads this post, because I know he will like to know that you missed him while he was gone.
I also wish he is on vacation, enjoying lots and lots and recharging his energy to come back 100%, which is fair and necessary.
