Olá a todos, essa semana seguindo o novo desafio semanal, vamos falar da regra Broken Arrows, que permite os monstros de longo alcance atacarem quando se encontrarem na primeira posição
This match took place in Raqueada of the Modern format, in the Ouro 2 league, around 2400 rating. I wanted to bring this specific battle to highlight when one rule "disturbs" the other, because in this specific battle, along with the Close Range rule, we had Lost Legendaries and Fire & Regret, which does not allow the use of legendary cards and grants the ability Return Fire all monsters respectively
Essa partida ocorreu no Raqueada do formato Moderno, na liga Ouro 2, por volta dos 2400 de rating. Eu quis trazer essa batalha em especifico pra destacar quando uma regra "atrapalha" a outra, pois nessa batalha em especifico, juntamente com a regra Close Range, tínhamos Lost Legendaries e Fire & Regret, que não permite utilizar cartas lendárias e concede a habilidade Return Fire a todos os monstros respectivamente

Due to this combination of rules, using long-range monsters to benefit from the Close Range rule becomes unfeasible due to Fire & Regret, so I chose to play with the water deck focused on melee attackers and taking advantage of the speed and shield that summoner Kelya grants
Por conta dessa combinação de regras, utilizar monstros de longo alcance para se beneficiar da regra Close Range se torna inviável por conta do Fire & Regret, com isso optei jogar com o deck de agua focado nos atacantes corpo a corpo e me aproveitando da velocidade e escudo que o invocador Kelya concede
Then I chose to take Diemonshark, to try to take advantage of its high shield and its abilities
Em seguida optei por levar o Diemonshark, pra tentar me aproveitar do seu alto escudo e suas habilidades
Then I chose to take the Tide Biter, due to its Reach ability, which allows it to attack from the second position.

I chose to take Deepluker in order to focus on monsters with lower hp on the field, in order to try to eliminate problematic monsters in the backline

I opted for Venari Wavesmith, to increase my team's defenses
Optei pela Venari Wavesmith, pra aumentar as defesas do meu time
Finally, I chose to take Angelic Mandarin, aiming for him to heal with Triage and make Return Fire not affect him
Por fim, optei por levar o Angelic Mandarin, visando ele se curar com o Triage e fazer com que o Return Fire não o afetasse
My opponent opted for a similar formation, however he chose to take a monster with Sneak and Tank Heal, and the Tank Heal was decisive for Diemonshark not to have his enrage in the second round, unlike mine, which allowed him to take it in a way faster the opponent's monsters
Meu oponente optou por uma formação parecida, todavia ele optou por levar um monstro com Sneak e Tank Heal, e o Tank Heal foi decisivo pra o Diemonshark não ter o enrage dele no segundo round, ao contrario do meu, o que permitiu levar de modo mais rapido os monstros do oponente
In addition, the fact that I had more damage being focused on the enemy diemonshark helped my victory, while the opponent's damage was very distributed among my team
Junto disso, o fato de eu ter mais dano sendo focado no diemonshark inimigo auxiliou para a minha vitória, enquanto o dano do oponente estava muito distribuído entre o meu time
