Durch Zufall bin ich heute Abend auf ein Video gestossen welches ich im letzten Frühling in einer versteckten Grotte bei Fribourg gemacht habe. Sie liegt in der Nähe der Grandfey Eisenbahnbrücke nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Durch die satanischen Skulpturen die irgendjemand einmal hier eingemeisselt hat, wird sie im Volksmund einfach die Teufelsgrotte genannt. Sie ist bei vielen Jugendlichen sehr beliebt weil sie dort ungestört ihre Partys abhalten können. Vor Jahren kam es dort zu einem tödlichen Unfall als eine junge Frau über die Fensterbrüstung etwa zwanzig Meter in die Tiefe stürzte und verstarb. Seither schaut dann und wann auch die Polizei dort vorbei.
Ich gehe da auch ab und zu vorbei wegen der speziellen Stimmung die da herscht. Da lässt sich wunderbar abschalten vom Lärm und Stress der Stadt. Da ich viel durchs Gelände und die Wälder in meiner Umgebung streife kenne ich auch entsprechend viele solche vergessenen Orte.
By chance, I came across a video tonight which I made last spring in a hidden sandstone cave near Friborg. It is close to the Grandfey railway bridge not far from the city center. Through the satanic sculptures that somebody once minted here, she is simply called the devil's grotto in the People's mouth. It is very popular with many young people because they can hold their parties undisturbed. Years ago, there was a fatal accident when a young woman crashed about twenty yards into the depths and died. Since then, the police have been looking over there.
I go there and again because of the special mood there. It can be wonderfully switched off from the noise and stress of the city. As I travel a lot through the terrain and the woods in my environment I also know a lot of such forgotten places.
