¡Hola, querida comunidad!☕
¿No les pasa que hay noches que se quedan grabadas en las fotos del teléfono y en lo más profundo del alma? Ayer me recordé lo necesario que es regalarse un espacio en la agenda para el disfrute propio. Me fui a conectar conmigo misma, a vivir la música en vivo y a contagiarme de la vibra del lanzamiento de «Valiente». Es el nuevo tema de Gus, un artista maravilloso que nos llena de orgullo en nuestra Valencia.
Salí de casa con la ilusión de quien asiste a su cita más esperada; porque habitar estos espacios a solas y consentirnos es, sin duda, arte y amor propio. Entre el juego de luces, el calor del lugar y la vibra del evento, me regalé dopamina gratis. Me dediqué a corear cada tema, fundiéndome con la música y reviviendo mis propios recuerdos en cada acorde.
De las madrugadas universitarias a las firmas discográficas
Estar allí me hizo viajar en el tiempo. Conozco a Gus desde el 2018, en aquel entonces, yo era apenas una estudiante universitaria, que intentaba descifrar su camino. Recuerdo con mucha nostalgia esas ideas de madrugada a la universidad; el frío de la mañana, la mente llena de dudas y, de fondo, las canciones de Gus acompañándome en el trayecto.
Hoy, el panorama es muy distinto. Estoy graduada como Licenciada en Comunicación Social, y ver qué el firmó con Universal Music Spain, me infla el pecho de alegría. Es bonito ser testigo de cómo los sueños locales rompen barreras y florecen.
Lo que nos enseña "Valiente": Amor, vida y sueños
Escuchar la canción en vivo, en medio de unas semanas raras en mi vida, me llevó a reflexionar sobre el mensaje que el artista transmite en su canción y cómo se entrelaza con la vida misma:
En el amor, el cual es el enfoque principal, implica bajar la guardia. Es atreverse a querer bonito, abrir el corazón, aún sabiendo que podemos salir heridos, pero eligiendo apostar por la vulnerabilidad.
En la vida, ser valiente no significa no sentir temor; significa avanzar con el temblor en las piernas; es tomar las decisiones que nos devuelven la paz mental y nos hacen crecer.
En los sueños, simboliza confiar en tu proceso aunque el panorama sea incierto, porque quizás dando ese salto de fe, eso te acerca a lo lo que anhelas.
Como bien lo refleja Gus en su tema, la valentía no es la falta de miedo. Ser valiente es tomar, incluso con miedo, las decisiones que te llevan al éxito y a tu propia realización. Si yo no hubiese tenido el valor de apostar por mi carrera o de redefinir mis espacios, hoy no estaría disfrutando de mi presencia con tanta tranquilidad. Y si Gus no hubiese sido valiente con su arte, hoy no estaríamos celebrando este gran paso.
Esta Solo Date, me recordó que no tenemos que esperar a tener mil amigos para salir, podemos intentarlo a solas y disfrutar momentos. Salir a apoyar el talento de nuestra ciudad nos demuestra que la música nuestras historias y que todos, a nuestra manera, estamos intentando ser valientes.

Do you ever have nights that get etched not just in your phone’s photos, but deep within your soul? Yesterday, I was reminded of how important it is to carve out time in your schedule just for yourself. I went to reconnect with myself, experience live music, and soak up the energy at the launch of "Valiente"—the new track by Gus, a wonderful artist who makes us here in Valencia so proud.
I left home with the excitement of someone heading to a long-awaited date; after all, showing up for these moments alone and treating ourselves is, without a doubt, an act of art and self-love. Amidst the play of lights, the warmth of the venue, and the event's atmosphere, I gave myself a free dose of dopamine. I spent the time singing along to every song, losing myself in the music, and reliving my own memories with every chord.
From late-night college sessions to record label signings.
Being there took me back in time. I’ve known Gus since 2018; back then, I was just a university student trying to figure out my path. I look back with such nostalgia on those early-morning commutes to campus—the morning chill, a mind full of doubts, and Gus’s songs keeping me company along the way.
Today, things look very different. I’ve graduated with a degree in Social Communication, and seeing him sign with Universal Music Spain fills me with pride and joy. It’s beautiful to witness local dreams breaking down barriers and blossoming.
What "Valiente" Teaches Us: Love, Life, and Dreams
Hearing the song live—during a strange few weeks in my life—prompted me to reflect on the message the artist conveys and how it intertwines with life itself:
Regarding love—the song's main focus—it implies letting your guard down. It means daring to love deeply and opening your heart, even knowing you might get hurt, yet choosing to embrace vulnerability.
In life, being brave doesn't mean not feeling fear; it means moving forward even with trembling legs. It means making decisions that restore our peace of mind and foster our growth.
When it comes to dreams, it symbolizes trusting your process even when the outlook is uncertain; perhaps taking that leap of faith brings you closer to what you long for.
As Gus beautifully reflects in his song, bravery is not the absence of fear. Being brave means making the decisions that lead to success and personal fulfillment, even when you are afraid. If I hadn't had the courage to bet on my career or redefine my personal space, I wouldn't be enjoying my own company with such serenity today. And if Gus hadn't been brave with his art, we wouldn't be celebrating this major milestone now.
This "solo date" reminded me that we don't need a crowd of friends to go out; we can venture out alone and enjoy the moment. Going out to support local talent shows us that music reflects our stories and that, in our own ways, we are all trying to be brave.
